School-Age Track

When School Ends, Your Work Begins.
School-Age

Our licensed name says “early childhood”, but we’re here for school-age child care professionals too! T.E.A.C.H. scholarships are available for your specialized work with children ages 5-12 with the same cost-sharing percentages, benefits and responsibilities as our early childhood scholarships.

Opportunities for school-age professionals have expanded to include the AfterSchool and Youth Development Credential, a great starting place for professional preparation and the best deal around – students only pay 5% of books and tuition, employers only provide release time and a bonus or raise, and T.E.A.C.H. covers the rest, including an enhanced bonus and The Registry commission fee. The Administrator’s and Program Development Credentials for site supervisors, coordinators, directors and administrators are also available at this cost-sharing level and can be tailored to meet your needs.

For those interested in earning a degree on a T.E.A.C.H. scholarship, there is now a Youth Development & Educational Leadership Degree. Related degrees specified in WI licensing of school-age care programs are also still accepted for scholarships as long as other eligibilities are met: Elementary Education, Physical Education, and Recreation.
